Fall Vows Planned by Valley

Rexburg- Oct 6- Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Eckersell Saturday announce the approaching marriage of their daughter, Dorothy, to Forrest Weber Kennington of Bedford, Wyo.

Miss Eckersell is a graduate of Madison High and graduated from junior college at Ricks. She taught school in Shelley prior to her leaving for an LDS northern California mission. Mr. Kennington is the sone of Mrs. Martha Kennington, Afton, Wyo., the young couple plan to be married October 10, in the Idaho Falls Temple. They will make their home in Bedford where Mr. Kennington is engaged in farming.

Bridal Shower

Miss Eckersell was honored at a bridal shower this week at the home of Mrs. Jack Lewis.

Cohostesses with Mrs. Lewis were Mrs. Laura Ashliman, Mrs. Edward Beck, Mrs. W.J. Lyman, Mrs. Albert Pieper, Mrs. Gilbert McKinlay, Mrs. Ruth Ricks, Mrs. Thomas Archibald and Mrs. Wayne Smart.

Original songs by Mrs. Archibald were sung by the group and were followed by her giving advice to the bride. Joyce Berry played two piano solos. Mrs. Willis Nelson and Mrs. Stanley McCulloch sang a vocal duet and Donna Walz gave a history of the bride. Following a luncheon the bride opened her gifts.
